Directions
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
Prepare the dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza peel or a lightly floured cutting board.
Add the toppings: Brush the sundried tomato olive oil evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust. Layer the sliced mozzarella evenly over the olive oil, followed by the sliced tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake the pizza: Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or onto a baking sheet if you're not using a stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Finish and serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Tear the fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the hot pizza. If desired, sprinkle with red pepper flakes for added spice. Slice the pizza and serve hot.
